Missing You – Tv series

Very intriguing from the very first episode, a series that gives you that “Binge watch” feeling. How would you react if your ex, who unexpectedly left you years earlier, turns up as a match on your dating app? That’s exactly what happens to DI Donovan, her ex Josh Buchanan matched to her in a dating app and she begins to prioritise finding out what happened to Josh and why he walked out suddenly eleven years ago and as she investigates, she also gets closer to finding out more about the death of her father.

Very Intriguing!

Secret Smile – Tv series

A Very intriguing, fast paced thriller and, Nobody plays the bad guy as well as David Tennant. In this he’s the very controlling and manipulative Brendan Block who announces his engagement to Kerry (Claire Goose) just weeks after a ten day fling with her sister Miranda (Kate Ashfield) but Suddenly and unexpectedly he calls the wedding off, then the lives of Miranda and Kerry take a major downturn as they probe into Brendan’s past. Can they stop him? Will anyone listen to them? Very Good series but let down with the illegal use of rohypnol to frame an innocent man for murder. That ruined it for me.

A Must Watch series!

Exile – Tv series

Psychological Thriller starring John Simm as Tom Ronstadt, a London journalist who returns home to Lancashire to help his sister Nancy (Olivia Colman) care for their ailing father Sam, played by Jim Broadbent, who is in the grips of Alzheimer’s. Also starring Claire Goose and Timothy West, Tom begins to unravel the mystery of his childhood that drove him away years earlier but with his father’s inability to remember, Tom’s quest leads to a devastating crime and unimaginable secrets.

Very Gripping!

Thelma and Louise

This is a Great movie. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis star in this exhilarating road movie as Thelma and Louise, two bored housewives wanting an exciting weekend away from their mundane lives and annoying husbands but things don’t go to plan and their thrilling road trip takes many twists and turns alongside a young Brad Pitt popping up along the way.

Black work – Tv series

This is a very good series, only comprising three episodes but each is full of intrigue. Starring the sexy Sheridan Smith as PC Jo Gillespie whose Police husband Ryan is killed in service but Jo doesn’t get the answers she needs so she goes digging into the investigation herself and isn’t happy with what she discovers. Did she really know her husband?

Very Watchable!

Brother – Ania Ahlborn

Pretty Good this, a little unnerving at times but still a decent thriller.

“Michael Morrow doesn’t feel he belongs in the family, doesn’t want to belong in the family but he’s given no choice. Ruled by his older brother Ray (Rebel) Michael just does as he’s told else he’d succumb to the wrath of his unhinged mother, his only solace is the knowledge that he’s probably protecting his younger sister Misty but is he or are all their fates already sealed?”

Weirdly Thrilling!
