This was an author I knew nothing about, a book that was recommended to me by a fellow book tuber.

I was so impressed with this book that I hurriedly purchased other books of hers, The Dark Dark & The Invention of everything else, both of which I’ve now also read.

All I’ll say is “Give this book a go, it’s a blast!”

Interesting Synopsis.

A little tricky to read due to some of the olden language but a disturbing ending which, for me, ruined the book.

Not one I’d recommend!

I’ve recently read the first two books in this 900 page monster and so far it’s pretty okay.

It’s very simply written, doesn’t take much concentration but it’s still pretty intriguing.

The Midnight Tour is my final hurdle, that’s the longest book of the trilogy…

Ive recently read this debut novel from the “supposed” Korean Stephen King and I was not disappointed.

I would highly recommend this book to any fan of horror, even those who enjoy a good thriller and will definitely read his next book.

Recently read this for the first time and like most of the others (ones that I’ve read) the book is much better than the movie.

Annie Wilkes is much nastier in the book and poor author Paul Shelton suffers intolerably but with it being one of King’s shorter novels it’s a pretty quick read. Very worth it too.

This was the final book of Koontz’s Leigh Nichols and can easily say that I enjoyed all of them even though they were all of very similar plot.

Out the six, this one had more questions that needed answering and was probably the most enthralling but all of them are definitely worth reading.

So far So good

Skipped to the third self titled story If It Bleeds to read that first, had to find out what happened to Holly Gibney after her Outsider experience! Yeah, Twas pretty good.

As for the other three novellas, The Rat was pretty good as was Mr Harrigans Phone but I didn’t really enjoy The Life of Chuck so much though overall it’s yet another great read from the worlds greatest writer.

“When Tommy Phan discovers a mysterious rag doll one day, he’s curious but tries to dismiss it. However, it seems ominously foreboding, a feeling borne out when he hears a sound from it that evening. When he picks up the doll, it’s heart actually appears to be beating, the threads of its eyes unravel and a strange green eye blinks at him”

I’ve very recently purchased this book so am not far through as yet so more is to follow…

Rachel’s violent, possessive husband is dead, hideously managed in a freak accident, has disappeared from the city morgue…

Of the books Koontz wrote as Leigh Nichols Id say this was the best one though they all have similar storylines but this story has more plot content than the others.

I actually prefer his early stuff to his later stuff and I’d strongly advise that, if you want to give Koontz a try you’d not do much better than beginning with this particular book.
