Book One: Prodigal Son
This was (surprisingly) pretty good. I’ve currently only got the first two books in the series but I’ve now read this first one and it’s really good, Very unlike the trashy modern day Koontz I was expecting!

This is the third book in The Yard series and is just as good as it’s predecessors.
Jack the Ripper still stalks the streets of London as four prisoners escape from jail giving Day & Hammersmith another bloody torrid time.
Just when you think Saucy Jack has been caught you have to think again…

This is the second book in “The Yard” series and is just as good.
It’s set in the Midlands as opposed to London and there’s no mention of Jack the Ripper but it’s still as enthralling and addictive as it’s predecessor, giving Day and Hammersmith another runaround.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 😎👍🏻

His debut book The Yard was superb but I do love any stories on Jack the Ripper and I just had to read another of his.
It’s Spring 1890. This killer, The Harvest Man hides in attics and murders his victims in a similar way to Jack so the police believe he’s still at large and is toying with them.
Absolutely Superb!!
Like it says, it had me hooked from the start (as did The Yard) and I’m now craving the next book in the series.

After hearing many good reviews about this book, especially it being so good for a Halloween read, I decided to push the boat out and get myself a copy!
Yes it was okay to be fair, pretty lighthearted but Ok. Only a couple stories I really liked, one ended disappointingly but overall a pretty good short story collection.

Her Best book yet!!
After Annie Thorne I assumed it couldn’t get any worse especially as The Chalk Man was pretty good but this beats both of those and more.
A big twist on the ‘missing child’ storyline takes you on a journey where you’re guessing until near the very end. Highly Recommended 😎👍🏻

Not Great. It’s an ok read but the characterisation is pretty poor and much of the story is taken from other horror novels.
Luckily this is Free on kindle, I’d have been upset to have paid for this book! I won’t be reading any more of this author’s work.

After hearing many good reviews of this book it was time to give it a try myself.
This is a Self Published work by Brandon Berntson, arguably his best work and it’s a pretty enjoyable little read even though it’s not really scary.

One of his earlier works and definitely one of his best.
Pretty sure everyone knows this novel is about a possessed car (Plymouth Fury) but there is much more to the book as a whole than that and is a must read for all fans of horror.
