After thoroughly enjoying the first four books in this series, The Yard, Black Country, The Devils Workshop & The Harvest Man I just had to get hold of a copy of this 5th book in the series.

This series is so damn enthralling and I cannot recommend it enough though I was a little disappointed at how this 5th book ends as it’s open for a sixth book but I’m not sure that we’ll get one!

It’s Fantastic. A Must read.

Recently purchased this cheap from Amazon.

Finished it in no time at all really it was that good. I’m a big fan of horror anthologies and some of these stories were very original. Highly recommended

This is the first novella in King’s anthology Four Past Midnight.

A plane has an unscheduled landing upon which most of its passengers have disappeared. Why did some passengers survive? Where exactly are they now? Can they all survive?

It’s a very intriguing read and is definitely one of King’s best novellas.

I’d never read any manga or graphic novels before but this was a Xmas present that I couldn’t help but get stuck into straight away.

Within a day or so I’d finished it and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Each story an original idea and the artwork is superb. If, like me before, you’ve never read a manga horror, starting with this one is a great idea.

Lily wakes up without any knowledge of who or where she is. At a similar time a woman’s body is found in a dumpster outside a bar, a woman who has a connection to Lily but what is it and why is she dead?

A very good thriller that kept me guessing throughout even though my prediction of its ending was very close but I really enjoyed this book and will look out for more from this author.

This new thriller was a Freebie on Prime kindle and, never one to turn down a Free Read I decided to give it a go!

It’s Pretty Good tbh, a sorta cult thriller that had me intrigued throughout and the major twist threw me.

Highly Recommended!!

Book Two: City of Night

After enjoying its predecessor and needing to know what happened after its climatic ending I then enjoyed this one.

It’s as good as the prequel and brings you closer to the police duo O’Connor & Maddison but also leaves a climatic ending and the need for book three in the series which I’m currently looking out for!

I’ve started this beast of a book (770 pages) Dan Simmons doesn’t seem to write short novels!!

Only onto chapter three but I’m already engrossed with the storyline but I’m not sure exactly how long it’s gonna take me to finish it!!

As this Robert Masello novel was Free on me kindle from Prime I decided to give it a go.

Yes, this is pretty damn good, well worth reading. I’d not heard of this author before the offer but I’ll definitely read more from Mr Masello now.
