I enjoyed this. It’s a Classic Japanese mystery from the author of The Honjin Murders.

A patrol officer stumbles upon somebody digging in the gardens of the Black Cat cafe. When he’s told that a body was seen, there starts the unraveling of this intriguing tale. Not sure why some words are left incomplete but that doesn’t affect the story in any way.

Yeah. This is Okay. Short, Sharp and to the point. Pretty Gripping at times.

What is the nature of insanity? Follow one Doctor’s hunt for the dark truth through a series of patient accounts, each further from the light than the last on a nightmarish journey into the realms of fear.

Book Four in the Washington Poe series…

Poe is summoned to a Cumbria backstreet where a man has been beaten to death and soon learns that his attendance was requested but what does this death have to do with a bank heist three years earlier where nothing was taken and How does the ceramic rat, left at both scenes, fit into all this?

Very Pacey Thriller!

The first movie is Very Good, the second movie is also pretty good but don’t bother with the third or fourth movie, they aren’t good.

Third book in the Washington Poe series and, like the first two, is Very Good😎👍🏻

Not quite sure what this is about but I enjoyed The Troop so hoping this is just as good…

An Anthology of new and classic novellas and short stories from various practitioners of Fear

This was a complete “Title Buy” upon seeing it in my local Waterstones today though I did still read the synopsis before purchase.

A middle aged man embarks on a dubious road trip through Switzerland with his elderly mother who has been recently discharged from a psychiatric facility.

En route, they attempt to give away the wealth she has amassed from investing in the arms industry but a fortune of such immensity is hard to squander but it’s a quest that involves Mother and Son delving into the darkest parts of their past.

The second anthology of this author that I’m reading, the previous one was so good.

I highly recommend this author to any fan of horror fiction.
