Smile – Movie

Recently watched this after having it on my list for some months and… It’s Okay. Yeah, just okay. It starts well, lead protagonist Rose becomes very likeable but towards the end it just veers off into stupidity. Yet again, another modern day horror movie defined by its trailer that lets the audience down with its full performance. Maybe worth watching for some but, just don’t go into this with high expectations. Sorry!

Disappointing!

All Hallows – Christopher Golden

“It’s the most wonderful time of the year…”

Halloween that is, always eager to read any horror set around this time so when I saw this one, though I’d heard nothing of it or the author, it became a must buy, so I did…

“It’s 1984 in Coventry, Massachusetts, it’s Halloween and two families are unravelling whilst four children who don’t belong are walking door to door. Children in costume who seem terrified, begging neighbourhood kids to hide them away, to keep them safe from The Cunning Man but can anyone save the children of Parmenter Road? All Hallows night, the one night when everything is a mask…”

Creepy… Atmospheric!!

Clean Sweep – Tv series

Enjoyed this. Twas very good😎👍🏻

Shelley Mohan is happily living in Ireland with her her DI husband Jason and their three children, Derek, Caitlin and Niall, happily that is until one day she gets tracked down by Charlie, an associate from her criminal past, a past when she wasn’t Shelley Mohan, a past to which her husband is unknowing, one that she’d put behind her and all but forgotten about but that past could now return to hurt her and her family…

CLEAN SWEEP

Holly – Stephen King

From the Master of Suspense… “A missing girl, two serial killers with a secret and one remarkable detective on their trail…”

King’s latest foray into the life of Holly Gibney…

Damn! I’ve finished it!! I always take my time and enjoy a King book (don’t understand why some readers just whizz through in the race to be first to offer their review) savouring the quality of the writing for as long as possible and this is Bloody Good but what else do you expect from The Master of Horror🎃😎👍🏻

Awesome Thriller!

Striking Out – Tv series

Recently watched this on Amazon Prime and, to be fair, Twas pretty good. It’s not serious like most legal shows are and the main protagonist Tara Rafferty, played by Amy Huberman, is a very lovable character. This also stars Neil Morrissey as Vincent Pike, a legal hotshot who enjoys a drink and a snort whom Tara goes to for help in her times of need. I buzzed through both series very quickly. Well worth watching😎👍🏻

Legal Fun!
