This is an Awesome series. It’s definitely a must watch, especially for all fans of mystery and sci-fi but IMO it’s a must watch for Everyone.

A reclusive spinster. A cold hearted murderess. The terrifying secret that unites them…
This is Really Good 😎👍🏻

Pretty Good this. Based on the Quadrilogy of books by David Peace 1974 1977 1980 1983, this is Gritty Journalism and Police Corruption at its finest.

Thriller starring Joanne Froggatt as Sybil Foster, an escapee from a psychiatric institution who survives by scamming men to finance her hotel stays but she soon becomes a suspect in a recent series of murders.

Successful career woman Emma Averill fears she is losing her mind as her lifelong dream starts turning into a nightmare. Approaching her 40th birthday she starts having visions and flashbacks of her mother’s mental illness, giving her the added worry of inheriting the bad blood that her mother used to warn her of before she got admitted over 30 years before.

Book One of the Red Riding Quadrilogy and it’s Winter in 1974, a missing girl in Yorkshire unfurls into a conspiracy involving the police, politicians and the local paper, a gripping descent into a secret history of greed and depravity.

“Brilliantly written and scary as hell. A masterpiece” (Stephen King)
This review caught my interest in this book from an author or book that I’d not heard of but when the Master of Horror recommends, We Listen.

Creature Feature Collection Part One

I’ve had a Good book Bad book experience with this author, Headful of Ghosts is pretty good but Cabin at the end of the world is Trash so I needed a majority vote for which I’m using this book.

The Silent Patient was So Good, probably one of the best examples of “The Debut Curse” but still had to have a go at his other work, this being next in line.
It’s pretty good still, not near as good as The Silent Patient but definitely worth a read. Therapist Mariana Andros, still struggling with life after the death of her husband, is drawn back to Cambridge University where she was once a student when her niece Zoe, now a student there herself tells her of a young girl found brutally murdered. Dare she risk her own life in order to ensure her niece’s safety? You are invited to join The Maidens, a secretive group from which each victim will be chosen.
