Firestarter – Stephen King

I’d started reading this a few years ago but somehow managed to lose the book before I’d finished it but luckily, thanks to a recent necessary (though Very Inconvenient and Stressful) sort out, I’ve discovered another copy that I had so I’m getting back to it albeit from the start again!!

Tis Very Good and as most King books are, it’s much better than it’s movie adaptation and keeps you engrossed, difficult to put it down til it’s finished.

After the brutal murder of her mother, Charlie McGee and her father Andy are on the run from a company known as The Shop who are interested in the unique power that Charlie possesses, wanting to capture her, killing her father along the way if necessary and perform unregulated testing in her which neither she nor her father wants.
