This was a complete cover buy. It sounds like a hard case crime novel but after a little research I’ve found out it’s the first of a series of books by this author.
This isn’t great. Though the premise “P.I. Louie Knight investigates the disappearance of several children whilst falling for a woman he shouldn’t be” gives off vibes of what could be a good read, the reasoning for and outcome of is stupid, very poor. I won’t be reading any more from this series or author that’s for sure.
